Brutus, a man warped


Rendering displacements in Mental Ray... Starting to get on my nerves now. Thought this "happy accident" turned out pretty funny though. The last 10% is feeling like it's actually 90% of the work. If anyone can tell me exactly what I need to do to make this work properly I'll be eternally grateful.

Here's a couple of quick progress pic of my latest 3d model, sculpted in Zbrush and soon ready to move over to texturing and finalizing in 3dsMax any time soon. As long as I can get the dang displacements to work properly with the Mental Ray SSS shader. Tricky stuff, that.
